Result: 1 Fog Projector

Usage

Right-click with an empty hand to open the editor. Particle fog creates moving particles around the block; camera fog changes the view of players inside its radius.

Any player allowed to interact with the block can change its settings.

Powering the block with redstone disables both particle emission and camera fog.

Right-click with a Stick to copy every setting onto the Stick. Sneak and right-click another Fog Projector with that Stick to paste the stored settings.

Holding a Fog Projector item outlines placed Fog Projectors so the transparent blocks are easier to locate.

Particle fog can be more graphically expensive than camera fog, especially with a high particle count and short frequency interval.

Editor fields

FieldAccepted valuesEffect
Particle Size0–30Size of each fog particle.
Particle R, G, B, A0–255Color and opacity of the fog particles.
Particle Thickness0–1Controls how strongly particles fade near blocks.
Particle Speed0–255Movement speed applied to emitted particles.
Particle Random X, Y, ZOn/offRandomizes the particle's direction on the selected axes.
Particle Direction X, Y, Z−2–2Base direction vector components used for fixed axes.
Num Particles0–100Number of particles emitted at each interval.
Particle Frequency0–1,000,000 ticksTicks between particle emissions. Values above 0 are required for emission.
Camera Fog Radius0–server maximumDistance from the block within which camera fog can affect the viewer.
Camera Fog R, G, B0–255Color blended into the viewer's fog while inside the radius.
Camera Fog Strength0–60Fog density at the projector. Strength decreases linearly to zero at the radius edge.
Camera Fog OnOn/offEnables or disables camera-based fog independently of particle settings.

Multiple active camera-fog projectors can affect the viewer at the same time; their color and strength contributions combine.
